Day 2: Explore Amsterdam & dinner with a Local
You will find a full refrigerator to prepare your own breakfast in the houseboat kitchen whilst enjoying the view over the water. After your breakfast you will
meet your local guide at a meeting point in the city centre to start your through one of the most charming areas of
Amsterdam called ´Jordaan`. Your local host will give you unique insights on the neighbourhood about its history and monuments and the Amsterdam
way of life.
The rest of the day you can spent discovering the city centre independently and see some of Amsterdam’s highlights. Bikes are easy to rent and the
usual way for locals to travel around. There are marked cycle tracks throughout the city.
This evening you will enjoy a special dinner. Not in a restaurant, but with a local. and
meet the family to enjoy a real Dutch dinner together. After desert and coffee you are free to go and continue on your way as the the night is still young in
this vibrant buzzing city. Amsterdam offers an exciting nightlife and parts of the city will romantically light up at night.
Included: beakfast on the 1st day, private 2 hrs. guided walking tour of Jordaan area with a local, 3-course dinner at a local home and
drinks selected by your local host. (Museum entrance tickets and other sightseeing activities available on request)
Day 3: Explore Amsterdam
Today you will have time to explore the city independently. Amsterdam has many activities to offer and lots of interesting sites to see. Renting a bike is
easy and the fastest way to travel around: drive through the beautiful the parks, pass by the old windmill beer brewery or cycle through the picturesque
canals with narrow streets. Optional we can arrange for your transportation to visit a nearby village like Haarlem or Zaandam. Or perhaps you would like to
visit the beachside or, a 4 tower medieval castle with wooden bridge and see it’s furnished rooms, medieval artefacts, knights gear and dungeons.
