Day 5: Travel to Brussels
A private transfer will take you to the station from where you will travel directly by train from Amsterdam to Brussels in Belgium. This journey by train will
take about 3 hours in which you cross through the Dutch countryside. From Brussels Central Station you can easily take a taxi at your own
arrangements to your accommodation close by.
Here you will stay in the old historic city centre. The local hotel is originally a typical Brussels house that was built in 1870, some of the characteristic
interior still remained the original way. It is situated in a lively neighborhood at walking distance of some of the highlights of Brussels such as the Grand
Market Square and the Town Hall. The rest of the day you are free to . Room facilities: bedroom with double
bed, TV, Wi-Fi, toilet/bathroom with shower, street side room with view.
Included: breakfast, 24 hr. ticket to hop on / hop off sightseeing bus. (Museum entrance tickets and other sightseeing activities available on

Day 4: Windmills & Clogs Tour through the Dutch countryside
Early in the morning you will be collected by a bus coach from a pickup point in the city centre. This 5,5 hrs. will take you on
a beautiful route through the Dutch countryside to 3 authentic Dutch villages at short distance from Amsterdam: Zaanse Schans, Volendam & Marken.
You will see many windmills, traditional countryside housing, cheese making, clog making and other characteristic features of The Netherlands. Some of
the windmills are open to the public.
From Volendam you will take a short boat transfer to the Island of Marken, a traditional fishing village where people still wear their folklore clothing and the
wooden houses are built on stilts. You will have time to take a stroll along the port boulevard and in the town centre. Afterwards you will drive back to the
point of pickup where you will be dropped off.
