The Best Reggae Summer Festivals
If you love reggae music, Germany is the one place to be! Germany is home to the greatest reggae fans of Europe, the reggae scene here is considered to
be the largest and most active in Europe. Germany has many local artist performing their own styles and obtaining international success within Europe and
even abroad. Almost in each German city, every week, reggae / dancehall concerts are scheduled and at the weekends DJ’s will stir up the atmosphere in
one of the many reggae bars or clubs. The atmosphere at such events can be described as friendly, peaceful and a mixture of all sorts of cultures.

The biggest multiple day reggae festivals of Europe can be found in Germany! such as Summer jam or Reggae Jam taking place each year in July. The kick
off starts on Tuesday when campers from all over Europe will travel to Cologne for the event of the year. The massive terrain will be taken over by thousands
of campers instantly creating a new ‘reggae’  villages consisting of tents, washing/toilet facilities, many walking paths, food stands, hangout spots and DJ
booths. Visitors will bring anything to create extra atmosphere and to adds up to the One Love feeling. In July temperatures are usually warm and sunny
enough to leap in the fresh water river or lake.

The festival takes place in an enclosed area where you can enjoy two main stages and the best reggae artists of the world: Damian Marley, Tarrus Riley,
Anthony B, Sean Paul, Fanta Moja, you name it they got it. Smaller stages can be found throughout the festival terrain with DJ booths playing different
styles. Sound Systems are brought in from all over the world to provide the best after parties until early in the morning. For a true reggae fan such an event is
like paradise on earth!
